ICANN 30th International Public Meeting

I have been in attendance at the ICANN conference in Los Angeles this week.

It has certainly been a good week for many, including Peter Dengate Thrush (NZ) being elected as the Chair of ICANN, replacing Vint Cerf, main events being translated into various stakeholder languages including French, Chinese and of course a Fast Track to IDN implementation.

I attended my first NomCom meeting over the past two days and have tried to soak up the plethora of information and processes.

The Internet is going to be such an exciting tool for non English speaking cultures in the very near future.
