Kimi Māori search engine

I am working on a beta project called Kimi. It is a Māori search engine that searches only web pages that are about or written in Māori. http://www.kimi.maori.nz/

If anyone wants to volunteer please contact me via my web site http://www.taiuru.maori.nz/ .

Kimi uses Google customised search engines as the main system. So if Google recognises it, Kimi will.

Why a Māori search engine when we have Google, a plethora of Google searches on Māori wil produce a plethora of irrelevant results. Kimi will search only a manually selected list of web sites. An example is “software”. Kimi wil only search Māori web sites that contain Māori software.

Yes, Kimi is named in a similar manner to Apple Lisa and Linux Debian 🙂 .
