Te Kete o Karaitiana Taiuru (Blog)

Taonga Collection no eating sign

The free to distribute poster below can be downloaded for free to use in any taonga collection for a library, museum or place that has taonga Māori where food should not be consumed.

The poster is in English and Chinese as its original purpose was for the Lincoln University Library where there is a high number of Chinese speaking students. The translation was completed by a native Chinese speaker.

The reason why it is not in te reo Māori is if you can read and understand te reo Maori you should also be aware of the fact that you should not eat and drink in such places.

If you organisation does not have a cultural adviser or Iwi representative you can contact, this poster is ideal for you.
